We are a newly established research lab in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Utah State University. We use a variety of approaches to study parasitic nematodes, with a particular interest in ascarids. Our mission is to develop the tools and resources needed to identify the underlying mechanisms of ascarid biology and discover novel insights that will inform the treatment and control of infections. Our work aims to improve clinical and economic outcomes associated with ascarid infections in human and veterinary hosts and serve as a platform for training future scientists.
